I posted about this on twitter earlier this week but there are a couple reasons why writing crit about porn games seems like it would be a buckwild (bad) time, personally:
- Writing about porn games in the New Games Journalism/personal essay style is a terrifying prospect to me
- I don’t trust anyone reading the reviews to be Normal about them in any direction, either there would be people expecting the crit itself to be porn so they can jack off to it or there’d be people appalled that I’d even mention a porn game on their Christian internet where children might stumble upon it and I’d prefer if neither of them perceived me
